The research conducted in the Department of Physics is primarily focused on the physics associated with biological phenomena or the practice of medicine. The department’s PhD program in biomedical physics reflects this research focus. Our graduates apply the tools and concepts of physics to solve significant biological or medical problems, and to advance the understanding of fundamental biomedical processes.
